The Hungary–Africa Week runs concurrently with the Africa Expo Budapest at the same location.
The event can be attended with a ticket to the 14th Africa Expo Budapest.

African cultural programs celebrate the joys of life, community, and a zest for living.
During the Cultural Days, we invite everyone to immerse themselves in the rich world of African art, music, dance, gastronomy, and culture.
Highlights include:
- Dance workshops to learn exotic rhythms led by professional dancers
- Authentic concerts, drum shows, live painting, and African fashion shows creating a lively festival atmosphere
- Talks and storytelling sessions by volunteers, NGOs, and travelers
- Discussions on African children, education, and community development
- Culinary tastings to discover Africa’s gastronomic treasures
- Children’s activities including storytime, henna and face painting, hair braiding, and creative craft workshops
This year, the Cultural Days of Hungary–Africa Week – This is Africa! and the Africa Expo join forces, bringing cultural programs together at Hungexpo.

Exhibitors, African and Africa-related artists, musicians, dancers, vendors, and NGOs.
Over the past two decades, the Foundation for Africa has organized numerous successful programs, attracting growing audiences each year. The interest and openness of the Hungarian public show that more and more people are eager to discover Africa’s authentic face.
In 2026, our goal is to provide an even deeper insight into the continent’s cultural diversity. Join us for this unique experience, where you can encounter Africa through its colors, sounds, and flavors!
